Shooting Outside Punjabi Singer Prem Dhillon's Residence In Canada: Reports

Brampton: Shooting was reported outside the residence of Punjabi singer Prem Dhillon in Canada's Brampton on Tuesday. Gangster Gurjant Jenta claimed responsibility for the attack, local Punjabi media reports claim.
Jenta is reported to be close to India's one of the most wanted terrorist Arshdeep Singh Dalla alias Ardh Dalla.
In his social media post, Jenta alleged that Dhillon discredited late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The gangster accused Dhillon of approaching another gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria to threaten Moose Wala for cancelling a contract, the social media post states as reported by News18 Punjab.
Jenta further stated that his gang was behind the cancellation of Dhillon's show in Australia.
Notably, Moose Wala was shot dead in May 2022 in Punjab's Mansa district. Gangster Goldy Brar claimed the responsibility for Moose Wala's murder.
Dhillon belongs to Dolo Nangal village in Punjab's Amritsar district. He is known for sings "Majha Block", "Old Skool" and "Boot Cut". Earlier also, Dhillon was attacked.
Last year in Sepetmebr, shots were also fired outside another Punjabi singer AP Dhillon's house on Victoria Island in Canada's Vancouver. Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Rohit Godara claimed the responsibility for firing outside AP Dhillon's house.
In November 2023, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang also opened fired outside famous Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal's Vancouver house in Canada.
