Video: KKR Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz Takes Auto Ride With No Money, Rickshaw Driver Gives Him Cash And A Hug

Kolkata Knight Riders' wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz heartily pranked a rickshaw driver during his ride to the location in Kolkata. Gurbaz decided to take a rickshaw ride while taking a break from training session.

In a video shared by Rahmanullah Gurbaz on his Instagram handle, the Afghan cricketer can be seen negotiating the rickshaw fare with the auto driver after reaching the location.

However, Gurbaz pranked him that he forgot to bring the wallet as it left it in the office. He removed the mask and the rickshaw driver managed to recognize. Since Rahmanullah Gurbaz already told 'Chacha' that he doesn't have money to return home, the rickshaw driver lend him some money and the cricketer gave him a hug for his kindness.

Along with a video, Gurbaz captioned, "Garibo ka dil sabse zyaada amir hota hai. "Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return.Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."

Rahmanullah Gurbaz's act of kindness caught the attention of many when he gave away blankets and money to the people sleeping on the streets in Ahmedabad. A night after Afghanistan's last ODI World Cup match against South Africa, the talented cricketer captured on camera quietly giving money to the homeless people sleeping on the pavements of Gujarat's capital at 3 am in the money.

His act of kindness garnered a lot of praise and appreciation from the people in India. Also, Rahmanullah Gurbaz raised the money for the victims affected due to Herat Earthquake in Afghanistan.

Kolkata Knight Riders won 2 matches in IPL 2024

Kolkata Knight Riders are off to a great start to their campaign as they won initial two matches of the ongoing IPL 2024. In the opening match, KKR defeated SunRisers Hyderabad by 4 runs. After posting a total of 208/7, KKR bowlers restricted SRH to 204/7.

Harshit Rana emerged as the star performer for Kolkata Knight Riders as he not only defended 13 runs in the final over but also picked crucial wickets of Shahbaz Ahmed and Heinrich Klassen, that turned the game around for KKR.

In the second match, Kolkata Knight Riders ended the home team winning streak in IPL 2024 with a 7-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Bengaluru. With a target of 183, KKR pulled off the chase with 3.5 overs. Venkatesh Iyer (50), Sunil Narine (47), and skipper Shreyas Iyer (39*) contributed significantly to the hosts' victory.

Kolkata Knight Riders will play their next match against Delhi Capitals in Vizag on April 3, Wednesday.
