Para Badminton athlete Sivarajan Solaimalai put on a stunning display during his men's singles SH6 group-stage fixture on Friday against Chu Man-Kai in the ongoing Paris 2024 Paralympics. Solaimalai's jaw-dropping flying return to evade the shuttlecock left the netizens stunned as the video of the same went viral on social media.

Badminton contingent delivers strong performances despite Solaimalai's narrow defeat:
The shuttlers showcased some excellent performances on what was a highly memorable day 2 for India. In the men's SL3 category, Kumar Nitesh thwarted China's Yang Jianyuan with a commanding straight-set victory 21-5 and 21-11.
As far as the SL4 category for men's badminton goes, Suhas L Yathiraj prevailed in a tight contest over South Korea's Shin Kyung Hwan. The woman's category equally stepped up with strong performances as Thulsimathi Murugesan sealed her spot in the semi-finals with a win over Portugal's Beatriz Monterio. Thulsimathi went on to defeat Monterio in straight games 21-12 and 21-8.
Nithya Sre secured a win over Chinese Taipei's Cai Yi-Lin 21-12 and 21-19. Nevertheless, Manasi Joshi, Manoj Sarkar, and Palak Kohli lost their respective fixtures.
