In a major step towards promoting cashless transactions and enhancing transparency, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Garden Department has introduced 13 Point-of-Sale (POS) machines across 10 popular gardens and facilities in the city.
This is the first time POS machines have been installed in PCMC gardens. Until now, only cash was accepted for entry fees. With the new system, visitors can make payments using POS machines, which generate a dynamic QR code for each transaction, ensuring every payment is traceable and accounted for.
