CSMC School Students Represent India at Robotics International Competition in Europe
CSMC administrator G Srikanth felicitated the students representing India at the CSMC headquarters on Thursday. The students included Irfan Ayub Shaikh, Jiyan Anwar Shaikh, Ujefa Samad Shaikh from Naregaon school, and Anjali Gaikwad from Indiranagar, Baijipura school.

The students of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) Schools at Naregaon and Indiranagar represented India at the Robotics International Competition held in Tolin City, Estonia, Europe, on December 6 and 7.

Under the guidance of administrator G Srikanth, a project called 'Smart School to Best School' is being implemented at all the municipal corporation schools in the city. As part of this project, students are involved in various activities and also participate in several competitions. One of these projects is robotics, implemented through the Robotics India Institute, Pune, at the schools. The students recently participated in the Robotics India National Competition held in Pune, where they clinched the first prize and were selected to represent India at the Robotics International Competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth said that the students had brought pride to the city and their schools. Robotics knowledge will be imparted to every student in the municipal schools henceforth. Similarly, French and German languages will be taught to help students compete at the international level. Under the smart school project, the schools are equipped with CCTV cameras, container libraries, music and sports facilities.
Additional municipal commissioner Santosh Wahule, chief auditor Naikwade, deputy municipal commissioner Lakhichand Chavan, education department controller Ganesh Dandge, education officer Bharat Tingote, headmistress Sangeeta Tajve, Pravin Narwade, Manisha, Mohit, and others were present. Dnyandeo Sangale conducted the proceedings of the function and proposed a vote of thanks.
