Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: CSMC Cracks Down On Tax Defaulters; Shops Sealed In Major Property Tax Drive

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has launched a severe drive against property owners with huge outstanding property taxes. The drive has been launched under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner G Srikanth and Deputy Municipal Commissioner Aparna Thete.

The Zone No. 8 office took action against property owners Asaram Mhaske, Shivaji Gaikwad, and Nilesh Jadhav for their large outstanding property taxes on Tuesday. The team sealed the shops of these property owners. Mhaske has an outstanding amount of Rs 4.68 lakh, Gaikwad Rs 2.19 lakh, and Jadhav Rs 2.52 lakh.

The action was executed by Assistant Commissioner Bharat Birare, Krishna Thokal, Ashok Bhajane, Sharad Waghmode, Sagar Sonawane, Ramchandra Waghmare, Rohit Chavan, Satish Gaikwad, Vinod Bhojane, Rahul Pawar, Yogesh Salve, Vishal Jogdand, Sudhir Korke, and others.

In another action, a shop was sealed in Ward No. 15 under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Sanjay Suradkar due to an outstanding amount of Rs 2.19 lakh. Tax Superintendent Avinash Maddi, Amit Ragade, Ashfaq Siddiqui, Vijay Bhalerao, Shaikh Naeem, Gajanan Munde, and others executed the sealing action.
