Aurangabad: Ambedkarite Movement Leaders Demand Immediate Arrests and Crime Branch Probe in Dinesh More Murder Case
It may be noted that Dinesh More was murdered in an open space near Harsul prison on December 2. He was an activist of the Ambedkarite movement. Around 10 to 15 people killed him by thrashing him with rods, bats, and stumps, and stabbing him with a knife. Some of the accused were arrested, but some are still at large.

All political parties of the Ambedkarite movement demanded that all those responsible for the murder of Dinesh alias (Bablu) Parmanand More be arrested immediately, and that the murder investigation be handed over to the crime branch. A delegation of leaders and citizens submitted a memorandum to DCP Nitin Bagate on Tuesday in this regard.

If there is a delay in arresting them, they could tamper with the evidence and are reportedly pressuring the complainant and the relatives of the accused. Therefore, the accused should be arrested immediately, and the case should be handed over to the crime branch for further investigation, as mentioned in the memorandum.

Danger to family members
Before the murder, around 12 to 15 people were inquiring about Dinesh in his residential locality. They later called him to a secluded area near Harsul prison on December 2, where they severely beat him and killed him. It is important to identify those who were inquiring about Dinesh. Additionally, there is a danger to the family members of the deceased, and police protection should be provided to them.
Currently, the investigation of the murder case is progressing at a slow pace, and there is a concern that justice may be denied to the deceased and his family members due to the delay. Therefore, the investigation should be handed over to the crime branch. The CCTV footage in the locality should be checked, and those who have helped the accused should also be arrested. The accused have criminal backgrounds and often terrorize people, the leaders mentioned in the memorandum.
The delegation included Deepak Nikalje, Sachin Nikam, Milind Dabhade, Atul Kamble, Manish Narwade, Pawan Pawar, Mukund Janjale, Ganesh Salve, Aditya Wahul, Kunal Ghorpade, Sachin Jogdande, Akshay Dandge, and others.
