BEST Started E-bus Driver Training In Dindoshi

BEST has initiated E-bus driver training in Dindoshi, Malad, in response to the recent bus accident in Kurla. This decision marks a significant step after more then seven years of implementing the first electric buses by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST).

The training program aims to help drivers adapt to the technological changes associated with electric buses, as stated in an official report released on Sunday. This initiative comes in the wake of a tragic incident on December 9, when a 12-meter electric bus collided with a crowd on SG Barve Marg in Kurla West, leading to the deaths of nine people, injuries to several others, and damage to more than 20 vehicles.
