Navi Mumbai, Feb 25: Eighteen-year-old Jeet Santosh Bhaskar is not a typical teenager. Yet to complete Class 12, the commerce student from Navi Mumbai has developed a consumer-facing artificial intelligence platform, BrontoAI™, which went live on the Apple App Store on Jan 25. What makes the achievement remarkable is that Jeet has no formal education in computer science.
In his professional profile, Jeet identifies himself as the founder and CEO of Bronto Intelligence, a parent organisation currently under process of incorporation, overseeing BrontoAI™ and MSPConnect™, two platforms positioned at the intersection of artificial intelligence and applied economics.
Sharing his journey, Jeet said, “I had no formal coding background. I don’t communicate much socially. On October 15, my father gave me a MacBook, and that became my primary medium of learning and building.”
From MSPConnect to BrontoAI
Jeet developed MSPConnect™ in October 2025 after studying pricing gaps affecting farmers. The platform was conceived for improving awareness of Minimum Support Price and market transparency.
Encouraged by the response to MSPConnect™, Jeet began work on BrontoAI™, dedicating nearly four months to the project. He said he handled complex coding structures without formal technical training and independently managed product development as well as discussions with the Apple team.
He added, “I undertook online courses and self-taught myself coding. My way of learning is not to do everything at once but to go step by step. I used to keep a split screen — one side for learning and the other for implementation — and that’s how I mastered the process.”
A human-centred AI approach
Unlike conventional AI platforms that focus on structured outputs, Jeet designed BrontoAI™ to communicate in a natural, Gen-Z-native tone that is emotionally aware and context-sensitive.
“The platform offers human-style language flow, realistic audio interaction and detailed image generation, with the aim of making users feel they are interacting with a thinking presence rather than a programmed interface,” explained Jeet.
Academic focus and future plans
Beyond entrepreneurship, Jeet has built a strong academic profile in economics. He says he has published two research papers, one examining gaps between government MSP awareness and realised selling prices among farmers in Maharashtra, and another on shadow pricing based on perceived affluence.

He completed eight advanced economics courses simultaneously and has already secured undergraduate admission offers from eight universities abroad, said his father Santosh Bhaskar.
The teenager now aims to continue exploring the intersection of economics and artificial intelligence.
“I want to pursue advanced research in economics while building scalable, human-centred technology platforms from India,” Jeet said.
