Mumbai: Prayer Meet Held In Memory Of Rajyogini Brahmakumari Dr. Nalini Didi In Ghatkopar
Nalini Didi who devoted her life to service and spirituality at the age of 14, put into practice the adage 'a sadhu dons the body for rendering good' and was affectionately known as “Didi Maa”.

A prayer meet was organised in Ghatkopar in memory of Rajyogini Brahmakumari Dr Nalini Didi, director of Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Centres of Central Mumbai, who passed away in Mumbai on February 9, 2025.
Nalini Didi who devoted her life to service and spirituality at the age of 14, put into practice the adage 'a sadhu dons the body for rendering good' and was affectionately known as “Didi Maa”. Living in Mumbai for the last 65 years, she chaired many international meets in India and abroad. Her sermons and articles were published in magazines, newspapers, and broadcast on television.
The prayer meet was held at Shrimati Bhuriben Laxmichand Golwala Auditorium. Senior members of the Brahmakumari organisation, like Rajyogini B K Shaku Didi, who has now taken charge as the director of Brahma Kumaris Ghatkopar subzone; Rajyogi B K Nikunj ji, spiritual mentor, popular columnist and national coordinator of media wing, Brahma Kumaris; B K Vishnu Priya, senior Rajyoga teacher; B K Bharat Bhushan Bhai Ji, senior Rajyoga teacher and motivational speaker; B K Harilal Bhai Ji, Godlywood Studio, Shantivan; B K Yashwant Bhai Ji, headquarters coordinator of IT Wing of Brahma Kumaris and founder of Radio Madhuban, were present at the prayer meet.

Others who attended the meeting were Dr Ashok Mehta, senior oncology surgeon, Pravin Chheda, secretary Mumbai BJP, Prakash Mehta, senior BJP leader and former Maharashtra state cabinet minister, Dr Arpita, head of ICU at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, Powai, and Dr Bhaskar Shah, senior cardiologist. The prayer meet was facilitated by senior Rajyoga teacher B K Beena from Junagadh who had specially come to pay tributes to Nalini Didi Ji.
The gathering was marked by soulful song renditions by Yugratan Bhai. Senior members of the Brahma Kumaris family and the dignitaries shared their cherished memories of Nalini Didi Ji, emphasising on her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment towards Godly services. Tribute messages and videos came in from the Brahma Kumaris family and well wishers from all over the world. In a message, the Brahmakumaris organisation said that Nalini Didi Ji's spiritual legacy would continue to inspire and guide countless seekers, as she moves towards a divine onward journey.
