A minor road accident occurred early Monday morning near the Sayani Road signal involving a BEST wet lease bus and a tempo carrying poultry. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to preliminary information, the BEST bus (No. 6295), operating on Route 162 between Worli and Sewri under a wet lease from Tata Motors (BVG Group), was proceeding through the Sayani Road signal around 7:15 am when a tempo (registration number MH 10 CR 9534) suddenly veered in from the left and collided with the front-left portion of the bus.
The impact led to the shattering of the bus’s front windshield and caused minor damage to its body. Despite the force of the collision, neither the bus driver, conductor, nor any of the passengers sustained injuries.
