Mumbai Horror: Man Caught Allegedly Raping Stray Dog In Versova, Thrashed By Locals; Video Goes Viral

Mumbai: A disturbing incident has come to light from Mumbai's Versova area, where a man was caught raping a stray dog. A viral video of the incident shows the accused being thrashed by the locals after allegedly being caught red-handed while doing the heinous act, triggering outrage among local residents.

In a video posted on Instagram by a user, Shivali Chhetri, the man can be seen standing with his shirt's buttons open. A crowd of locals can be seen confronting him about his act while he is seen pleading for forgiveness. The locals can be seen slapping him and even beating him with sticks.

In another video, Shivali can be seen claiming to empty the accused's bag and can be seen showing condom packets, a phone charger and other things that were in his bag. She can be seen talking to a girl who allegedly saw the man raping the dog with her own eyes. Shivali then can be heard claiming that the accused got drunk and then engaged in the heinous act of raping a dog.

In a third video, Shivali can be seen informing that she is a local resident and has been staying in the Dev Aai building. She then said that she was passing by the area and noticed that the locals were thrashing a man. Upon enquiry, she found out about the disturbing act. She then addressed PM Modi in her video, informing about the situation.

Netizens Erupt In Anger

The videos quickly went viral with several netizens tagging Mumbai Police, senior cop and animal activist Sudhir Kudalkar and another noted activist Vijay Rangare. Many expressed shock over the incident while others demanded strict punishment for the accused.

There are no official reports of any legal action taken into the matter as of now. An official statement from the Mumbai Police on the matter is awaited as of now.
