Mumbai: 9-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Crushed By Water Tank Burst In Nagpada
Construction work was underway in the BMC colony at Siddharth Nagar, Mumbai. BMC laborers had built a cement water tank at the site for their use. This morning, the water tank overflowed, and the pressure caused the tank to burst.

Construction work was underway in the BMC colony at Siddharth Nagar, Mumbai. BMC laborers had built a cement water tank at the site for their use. This morning, the water tank overflowed, and the pressure caused the tank to burst.
Nearby, a 9-year-old girl, Afrin Khatoon, was playing, and three others were sitting close to the tank.
In this incident, Khushi Shah lost her life, while 10-year-old Minaz Shah, 32-year-old Gulam Mulla, and 35-year-old Nazarana Ali Hussain sustained injuries.
The injured have been admitted to Fauzia Hospital for treatment.
