Light up a diya and recite the Hanuman Chalisa and other hymns dedicated to Lord Hanuman, which are believed to invoke his blessings for courage, protection from evil, and removal of obstacles. Many families also organise Sundarkand, and offer prasadam, including boondi, made from chickpea flour.
