Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A woman from Gwalior has accused a man of raping her after luring her with a fake job. The accused posed as a relative of BJP MLA Amrish Sharma.
The incident unfolded in Lahar, Bhind district, where the accused Sudhanshu Mohan Dwivedi alias Bhaiyaji of allegedly drugging the woman before committing the crime.
According to reports, the 35-year-old woman, a resident of Sirol area in Gwalior and mother of three, was looking for a job when she met Dwivedi alias Bhaiyaj in a wedding ceremony in Gwalior a few months ago.

Further, Dwivedi called up the woman offering her a job in Lahar. He asked her to come to Lahar immediately, saying that she only needed to meet some officials for formalities. According to her complaint, no one else was present at the house.
After a while, Sudhanshu offered her a spiked cold drink. Soon after consuming it, she began to feel dizzy and drowsy. The woman alleged that Sudhanshu took advantage of her vulnerable state and raped her.
The woman reportedly tried to escape by moving her hands and legs, but she couldn't move because she was drugged . When the accused left, his aide Ravi came and often threatened to kill her children if she confesses to anybody.
According to Lahar police station a case has been registered on this. The matter is being investigated. The accused is currently lodged in Maharashtra jail.
