Manawar (Madhya Pradesh): A private bus carrying wedding guests turned turtle near Bakaner Maan River culvert, leading to death of a woman passenger. Twelve others were critically injured while others escaped with minor injuries.
As per reports, the accident occurred in Bakaner village of Manawar town in Dhar district on Friday when a private bus travelling from Nagda Junction to Bakaner overturned.
Local residents expressed their concern over frequent accidents
The deceased was identified as the aunt of groom, Rajpal Singh. The injured individuals were currently receiving primary treatment at Bakaner Community Health Centre.
Chief Development Block Medical Officer Dr Kuldeep Kumar Nag ensured that all are out of danger. Local residents expressed their concern over frequent accidents occurring on Maan River.
A detailed project report (DPR) for constructing a high bridge under Pradhan Mantri Road Scheme has been prepared, with an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore. However, the tender process has yet to be initiated.
