Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Manawar Congress MLA and JAYS national president Dr Hiralal Alawa has red-flagged rising alcoholism among tribal youth in Dhar district, particularly in Dahi and Kukshi.
He claims in a viral video that the situation has become a headache for both government and administration.
Dr Alawa emphasises that issue is affecting the future of the youth. He pointed out that many accidents occur due to drunk driving, with young people often failing to wear helmets because they are intoxicated.
Alawa has communicated these concerns to officials in Excise Department of Indore Division, but he claims no action has been taken. He highlighted that alcohol is being smuggled from Dhar to Gujarat.
