Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A video of a 20-year-old girl recorded just before she committed suicide went viral on Wednesday. In the video, the girl named Nikita is seen consuming four pills and expressing her despair over the loss of her boyfriend, Deepak who took his life on March 15.
Nikita posted the video on Instagram stating, ‘I will not be able to live without you.’
The incident occurred in Nihal Nagar Colony, Naugaon on March 22. In the days leading to her death, Nikita shared stories and videos on social media in memory of Deepak.
Their photos and videos have since circulated widely, prompting police to investigate who shared them. When asked about the incident, both the police and family members declined to comment. Villagers revealed that the couple was in a relationship and wanted to marry, but their families were not supportive due to cast difference.

On the afternoon of March 22, Nikita's family took her to the district hospital, where she was declared brought dead. After post-mortem, her body was taken to their village in Dewas. Naugaon police sealed the room where she consumed poison.
Naugaon TI Sunil Sharma stated that Nikita's mobile phone is locked, limiting the information available. The police are examining her call details for further insight. Before her death, Nikita uploaded seven photos on Instagram, including one of Deepak's pyre.
