DRM Faints During Inspection At Ujjain Railway Station, Rushed To Hospital
The GM continued his inspection as scheduled, while senior railway officials checked on the DRM’s condition.

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Western Railway, Ashwani Kumar, fainted at the Ujjain railway station premises on Wednesday morning.
He was present to accompany Western Railway’s new General Manager (GM) Ravi Kumar Gupta, who was visiting Ujjain to review preparations for the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparv 2028.

According to information, the incident took place during the inspection at the station.
Sources say that Ashvin Kumar suddenly felt uneasy and fainted, causing concern among the officials and staff present. He was immediately taken to Avantika Hospital in the city for medical treatment.
Doctors at the hospital stated that his condition is now stable and he is out of danger. It was reported that he fainted due to low blood pressure.
His wife, who is also a doctor, rushed to the hospital to be by his side and assist in his care.
