Ban On Organising Events In Public Area Without Permission In Indore |
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Prohibitory orders have been issued in the city limits of urban areas to maintain law and order and for the public safety and peace. In this regard, commissioner of police Santosh Kumar Singh has issued an order under Section 163 of the BNSS.
According to the order issued, events organised by any religious, political, other groups such as salaried employees, government employees etc. in the city limits are prohibited unless they obtain permission from the competent authority.
Use and keeping any type of arms or explosive material will also be prohibited during all types of processions, dharna demonstrations, religious events, marriage events, birthday events etc.
Such groups which gather and disrupt law and order and public peace by disrupting traffic and affecting movement at public places will be banned.
It will be prohibited to keep objectionable weapons, arms and ammunition, explosive material in any building, public place and private place and any such thing which may cause danger to the public.
Action will be taken against those who violate the order under section 223 of the BNS. This order will remain in force till 4 July 2025.
