PM Modi Speaks To US President Donald Trump, Says 'Will Continue To Work Together For Global Peace & Prosperity'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump on Thursday had a telephonic conversation. The two leaders discussed expanding cooperation in various areas.
Sharing the news, PM Modi too to X and said, "Had a very warm and engaging conversation with President Trump. We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. India and the U.S. will continue to work together for global peace, stability and prosperity."
The phone call between the two leaders took place on a day when the US negotiators opened two days of trade talks in New Delhi. A top American official in Washington said India has put forward its strongest proposals yet for a long-pending bilateral pact.
