On Camera: Man Visiting Married Woman At Midnight Brutally Beaten By Her Family In UP's Baghpat

Baghpat: A man was brutally beaten by the family of a married woman after he allegedly visited her home at midnight. A video of the incident, which shows the woman’s relatives thrashing the man, has since gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the woman, a mother of six, had called her neighbour, with whom she was in a relationship, to her house late on Thursday night in the Singhawali Aheer police station area. When the man arrived, her family members woke up and allegedly caught the pair in a compromising position.

Both were locked inside a room and thrashed. In the viral video, the couple can be seen pleading for forgiveness as they were assaulted.

The man was eventually released, but the woman’s husband later lodged a police complaint. He alleged that his wife and her lover would drug him at night to keep him unconscious, and accused them of endangering his and his son’s lives.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sonvir Singh Solanki confirmed that a case has been registered against the woman and the man. “Action will be taken against those found guilty,” he said.
