Mumbai: Technical Glitch Near Chuna Bhatti Disrupt Suburban Train Services
According to a Central Railway official, the Auxiliary Warning System (AWS) was triggered due to the glitch, causing the train to halt for three to four minutes.

Mumbai: Train services on the harbour line were briefly disrupted on Thursday evening due to a technical snag on a local train near Chuna Bhatti station. According to a Central Railway official, the Auxiliary Warning System (AWS) was triggered due to the glitch, causing the train to halt for three to four minutes.
"The issue was promptly addressed, and normal operations resumed shortly after," the official added.
Although the disruption was brief, it caused delays to several other services on the route, inconveniencing thousand passengers during peak hours.
"On Wednesday harbour line suburban services were also disrupted due tu technical snag. Repeated problem underscore the need for more consistent maintenance of Mumbai’s busy suburban railway network" said a passenger activist.
