Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla To Inaugurate 2-Day Orientation Programme For Haryana Legislators

Chandigarh: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla would inaugurate a two-day orientation programme for Haryana legislators here on Friday; Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Harivansh would chair the concluding session on Saturday.

Organised by the Haryana legislative assembly in collaboration with the Institute for Parliamentary Democracy Research and Training (PRIDE) of the Lok Sabha, would also be attended by all Cabinet ministers, ministers of state, and MPs from Haryana. Numerous other distinguished guests would also be present to grace the event.

An official release said that Haryana chief minister Nayab Saini, Union housing and urban affairs and power minister Manohar Lal Khattar, former chief minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Speaker of Punjab legislative assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan, deputy Speaker of Haryana legislative assembly Krishan Lal Middha, Speaker of Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly Satish Mahana, Speaker of Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania and speaker of Gujarat legislative assembly Shankarbhai Chaudhary will be special participant in the program.

Apart from this, Lok Sabha member and chairman of joint committee on Wakf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 Jagdambika Pal, Lok Sabha member and chairman of estimates committee Sanjay Jaiswal, former Member of Lok Sabha Satyapal Singh, Lok Sabha secretary general Utpal Kumar Singh, and principal secretary, Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly Pradeep Kumar Dubey will also attend the programme.
