Who is Sheezan Khan? All you need to know about Tunisha Sharma's rumoured boyfriend and co-star

Sheezan Khan, TV actress Tunisha Sharma's co-star and rumoured boyfriend, was arrested by Waliv Police on Saturday night. Hours after the death of Tunisha, police filed a case of abetment to suicide after the actress' mother registered a complaint against him.

A case under section 306 of IPC has been registered against Sheezan and he will be presented in court on Sunday.

Who is Sheezan Khan?

Tunisha and Sheezan worked together on the show Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. He is best known as young Akbar/Sultan Murad Mirza in Jodha Akbar and now as Ali Baba in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.

Sheezan was born on September 9, 1994, in Mumbai. He graduated from Mumbai University.

He has over 217K followers on Instagram. He is quite active on social media and often shares pictures and videos from the sets of his shows.

Sheezan is TV actresses Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz's brother. He was rumoured to be dating Tunisha. He is 28.

He made his acting debut in 2013 with Jodha Akbar. The actor has been a part of several shows like Silsila Pyaar Ka, Chandra Nandini, Tara From Satara and Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan among several others.

Reportedly, he was also rumoured to be dating Kundali Bhagya actress Mrinal Singh before Tunisha.

Tunisha's death

The 20-year-old actress was found hanging from a fan in the make-up room on the sets of her TV show. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in Naigaon, however, she was announced dead upon arrival.

Police have said they will investigate the death of Tunisha from both the murder and suicide angles.

People present on the sets of the serial the actress was last working on, claimed that she died by suicide. Without informing the police, the body of the 20-year-old actor was removed from its spot, where it was found hanging. In this situation, the police says it will investigate the matter from all possible angles.

No suicide note has been found and cops are interrogating everyone present on the set.

Tunisha's acting career

Tunisha Sharma made her acting debut with 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap'. She also worked in shows like 'Ishq Subhan Allah', 'Gabbar Poonchwala', 'Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh', and 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'.

The actor also appeared in Bollywood movies including 'Fitoor', 'Baar Baar Dekho', 'Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh', and 'Dabangg 3'.

Young Katrina Kaif was portrayed by Tunisha Sharma in the films 'Fitoor' and 'Baar Baar Dekho'. In 'Dabangg 3' with Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, she too had a brief appearance.
