The recent episodes of 'Bigg Boss 16' have been witnessing housemates raising some serious questions on Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta's relationship. While the two have been trying to justify their bond, the former passed a nasty comment on co-contestant Soundarya Sharma in the latest episode.

It all began when on Tuesday, Shalin and Tina were caught hugging by Archana Gautam, and she did not miss the chance to pass a snide comment. It did not go down well with Tina, who gave it back to her saying she was hugging Shalin the same way Archana hugs Soundarya.

Later, Tina and Shalin were seen discussing the entire incident, when the latter mentioned how Archana's only job on the show is to provoke people and make them react, and she does not care what people talk about her, as long as her name is in the news.

He went on state that he and Tina do not need to justify their equation, and that is when he took a nasty dig at Soundarya.

"Yeh pehle hafte mein bathroom mein ladke ke saath kar rhi thi, aaj hamari dosti pe sawaal utha rahi hai," Shalin was heard saying.

Shalin's remark did not go down well with a lot of netizens, who slammed the actor for shaming a woman on national television.

Shalin and Tina’s relationship

Shalin and Tina’s bond has been grabbing eyeballs ever since the inception of the show. While the two started off as friends on ‘Bigg Boss 16’, Shalin had later admitted that he likes Tina and even feels to have fallen for her.

Tina, on the other hand, refused from taking their relationship ahead on television, and has been maintaining that they will speak about it once they step out of the house.

In the past few days, both Shalin and Tina were seen at loggerheads to the extent of openly hurling abuses and demeaning each other. However, the two seem to be back to being friends on the show.
