Saiyaara Title Track TOPS Spotify's Global Viral 50 Chart, Becomes First Indian Song To Achieve Feat
The Saiyaara fever refuses to die down and it has not just gripped Indian theatres, but global playlists as well. The title track of the film, which is now splashed all over, has become the first-ever Indian song to top the Global Viral 50 chart on Spotify. It defeated the likes of Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, BLACKPINK and Sabrina Carpenter, among others.

The Saiyaara fever refuses to die down and it has not just gripped Indian theatres, but global playlists as well. The title track of the film, which is now splashed all over, has become the first-ever Indian song to top the Global Viral 50 chart on Spotify.
With that, Saiyaara, sung by Faheem Abdullah and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, defeated the likes of Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, BLACKPINK and Sabrina Carpenter, among others.
Bagchi took to his Instagram handle to celebrate the massive feat. "We did it. Saaiyara is now #1 on Global Viral Spotify. This moment belongs to every heartbeat behind the song (sic)," he penned in a heartfelt note.
He went on to say, "Thank you to Mohit Suri sir, the man with the vision. Irshad bhai, for penning words that pierced hearts. Arsalan & Faheem, your music and your voice brought the sky closer. YRF, for backing us with belief. And to every listener, every sharer, every dreamer this is yours too (sic)."
He concluded the note by writing, "Indian music isn’t rising. It’s already flying. Saiyaara is the proof (sic)."

Meanwhile, Saiyaara scripted history at the box office as it has become one of the highest-grossing films led by newcomers. The film stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles, and even after a week, it's going strong at the box office.
The film opened with Rs 21 crore, thus registering the highest-ever first day collection for a film starring debutants.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara crossed the Rs 200 crore mark within eight days of its release, and theatres are still running houseful shows to cater to the demand of the audience.
