Popular Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who starred opposite the late Irrfan Khan in the 2017 film Hindi Medium, her debut in Hindi cinema, was hospitalised recently due to 'severe diarrhoea.' She took to social media to update her fans about her health, stating that she is 'healing and recovering.'
Sharing photos from the hospital, Saba was all smiles as she posed with her loved ones from her hospital bed. She wrote, "Hey my amazing fans! I know a lot of you were worried about me. So I just want to let you know that I had severe diarrhea, but Alhamdulillah, I’m feeling much better now."
"I’m healing, recovering, and my wonderful team is taking care of me." Further, expressing her gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of love and prayers, Saba Qamar stated, "Your love and prayers mean so much to me, and I promise I’ll be back really, really soon. Love you all, please keep me in your duas," she added.

On the personal front, Saba was set to tie the knot with Azeem Khan, a blogger and entrepreneur, but she called off her wedding after a woman had accused Azeem of sexual harassment days their engagement was announced.
In the note, Saba shared a statement on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Hi everyone! I have a very important announcement to make, due to a lot of personal reasons I have decided to call it off with Azeem Khan. WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED NOW. Hope you guys will support my decision just like you all have been supporting me always, and I guess it's never too late to realise the bitter realities."
"I also wanted to clear ONE IMPORTANT thing that is: I have never met Azeem Khan in my life we were only connected over the phone. It's a very hard time for me right now but as we all know 'this too shall pass' Insha Allah. Much love to you all," she concluded.
On the work front, Saba recently made her TV comeback after seven years with Saife Hassan's directorial telefilm Mohabbat Yun Bhi Honi Thi opposite Ahsan Khan.
Saba was last seen in Pagal Khana as Noor-e-Saba.
