Kenishaa Francis made headlines over her alleged romance with Ravi Mohan after their joint appearance at a Chennai wedding. Facing backlash, her close friend Vijayanthi Rajeshwar defended her, slamming 'vulgar' trolls. "You aren’t what everyone claims you to be. The truth will come out someday," she wrote. Singer and spiritual healer Kenishaa Francis is grabbing headlines for her alleged relationship with Tamil star Ravi Mohan, after the duo made their first public appearance together at a wedding in Chennai. Hours later, Ravi's wife Aarti Ravi shared an emotional note revealing her financial struggles and ongoing divorce battle. A line from her note read, "You can move on in gold silk. You can replace roles in your public life. But you cannot rewrite the truth," seemingly hinting at Kenishaa’s golden saree worn during the public outing with Ravi.
Days later, Kenishaa's close friend Vijayanthi Rajeshwar came to her defense amid the growing backlash, slamming the 'vulgar' trolls and asserting that the truth will come out someday. Vijayanthi shared a picture of her hugging Kenishaa tightly, writing, "I've sat in silence and asked you to be silent over the last few days and I know how difficult these times have been. I’ve known you separately and I’ve known you together with my dearest Ravi anna. How misunderstood, how brutal and how vulgar the people can be is something I’ve witnessed in this ordeal."

Re-sharing the post, Kenishaa wrote, “You are powerful to say this and I love you so much.”
In September last year, Ravi revealed that he was ending his 15-year marriage with Aarti, with whom he shares two sons, Aarav and Ayaan.
