‘Love Story’ singer Taylor Swift secretly engaged to longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn: Report

American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift is reportedly engaged to longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

According to a report by The Sun, Alwyn popped the question months ago, and only their inner circle which comprises family and old friends, are aware of it.

A source told the outlet that Swift only wears her engagement ring in private.

In an interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone in 2020, Swift opened about her love life with Joe and explained why the couple have taken a more delicate approach when it came to sharing details about their relationship.

Swift said, "I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalize things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives. I can't control if there's going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow."

When asked if Joe sympathized with her, Taylor replied, "Oh, absolutely."

"I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids," she added.

The rock-solid couple has been dating since 2016, although they rarely share details about their love life.

The much-in-love couple, whose relationship went public in the spring of 2017.

The 11-time Grammy winner and the 'Harriet' star have only made a handful of public appearances together over the years.

Joe was even credited under a pseudonym when he collaborated with Taylor on her 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' albums.
