Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 contestants Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda have landed in trouble after an FIR was filed against them at the Basaveshwaranagar Police Station in Bengaluru. The case was registered after a viral social media reel showed them posing with a large, sharp weapon.

Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Bhanu Prakash from Basaveshwaranagar, who had been tasked with monitoring social media for illegal or harmful content, came across the video posted by Kishan’s account and subsequently filed the FIR.

According to the Times of India, senior police said that a case has been registered under Arms Act and BNS Section 270 (public nuisance).

The police stated that displaying weapons in public in a threatening manner is unacceptable, as it can create panic or fear among people.

PSI Bhanu Prakash shared that he and his team had been keeping an eye on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, Snapchat, and others, to track content that may disturb public peace or involve law-breaking actions.

In the controversial clip, Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda can be seen walking, and as the video continues, they are seen exchanging the weapon with each other. The video, shared by Rajat Kishan G on his Instagram profile, was captioned, "When brother says ... I have a problem !!! KARIYA..."

Reportedly, when they were summoned, Vinay Gowda apologised for the video and explained that it was for shooting purposes. Rajat Kishan, on the other hand, added a caution message to his video after the police tried to contact him, stating, "Don't try this at home. It's for shooting purposes only, the property used in the shoot is a set prop."

However, the video has still not been deleted
