Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away in the wee hours of Thursday, leaving the film fraternity shocked.
The actor was 66 when he breathed his last.
He reportedly had taken off to Gurugram where he fell sick and suffered a massive heart attack. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved by the doctors.

Hours before his demise, Kaushik had attended the Holi party hosted by lyricist-screenwriter Javed Akhtar and his wife, veteran actress Shabana Azmi in Mumbai.
He was seen all smiles as he arrived at the bash on Tuesday and even wished the paparazzi a Happy Holi.
He even posted his pictures from the Holi party where he caught up with Javed Akhtar, Mahima Chaudry, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha.
"Colourful Happy Fun Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @jaduakhtar @babaazmi @azmishabana18 @tanviazmiofficial .. met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @therichachadha @mahimachaudhry1 wishing Happy Holi to everyone," his last post reads.
Satish Kaushik's last rites
Satish Kaushik's mortal remains are currently taken to Deendayal Hospital where his postmortem will be conducted.
His mortal remains will then be flown down to Mumbai where he will be cremated in the presence of his close friends and family members.
Several celebs from the film industry mourned Kaushik's demise, including his best friend Anupam Kher, Arbaaz Khan, Subhash Ghai, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
