Priyanka Chopra reveals she 'fell on her butt' at premiere of Love Again, praises paps: 'Till now, there is no clip of me falling'

Global star Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that she fell on her butt at the premiere of her upcoming film Love Again in New York. In one of her interviews, Priyanka said she fell on the red carpet but was surprised to see the reaction of the paparazzi.

Priyanka had opted for a blue dress with a big bow at the back. Opening up about her fall, the Citadel actress shared, "I haven't talked about this because I try and look for this thing everyday on social media but I was wearing really high heels that day in this dress for it to look as tall as it did. And you know, the red carpet is full of press people, everyone is taking pictures, fans. And, I fell on the carpet, on my shoes, I fell down all the way to my butt."

Priyanka praises paparazzi: There is no clip of me falling

Praising the photographers, she continued, "I have never seen this happen in 23 years of my career, everyone put their cameras down and they said ‘Don’t worry about it Pri, take your time’. I was mortified for a second, but when I saw people do that — they said, ‘You’re always so nice, we got this’ — I stood up. And till now, there is no clip of me falling."

Since the last few weeks, Priyanka has been on a promotion spree for Love Again and Citadel. In April, the actress was in Mumbai with her daughter Malti Marie and was also joined by her husband, Nick Jonas, briefly.

In Love Again, Priyanka stars in the film as Mira Ray, who - struggling to cope with the death of her fiancé - sends romantic messages to his old phone number, which has been reassigned to journalist Rob Burns (Heughan). Rob is drawn to Mira's beautiful texts and seeks Celine Dion's assistance to find her in real life when he is tasked with writing a feature about the 'My Heart Will Go On' singer.

The film also stars Nick Jonas in a special role. It is all set to release in India on May 12.
