Hansal Mehta says working with Kangana Ranaut was a 'massive mistake'
Hansal Mehta and Kangana Ranaut had collaborated for the 2017 film 'Simran'.

Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who had directed Kangana Ranaut in the film 'Simran', recently stated that working with the actress was a 'massive mistake'.
While speaking to Mashable, Mehta said that though Kangana is a good actor, she has limited herself to making films that are only about herself.
"You need not make all the characters become what you want to believe you are," he said, adding that it is not his place to criticise the choices that she makes.
Mehta went on to say that Kangana might be a big star but working with her was a 'massive mistake' and that the actor-director duo did not gel on the sets of 'Simran'.

When asked if she played a role in editing the film, Mehta quipped that there was nothing left to edit as they had shot only what Kangana wanted to shoot.
'Simran' released in the year 2017 and also starred Sohum Shah. The film revolved around the story of a divorcee who finds herself drawn into a life of crime when she is unable to repay a loan. It failed miserably at the box office and the actress failed to impress her fans and critics as well.
Meanwhile, Hansal Mehta will be collaborating next with the current Bollywood sensation Kartik Aaryan for the film 'Captain India'.
