Mumbai University Plans Expansion Of Student Grievance Platform

The ‘Student–Vice-Chancellor Dialogue’ has been conducted at the university for several years and has emerged as a platform for addressing student grievances concerning results, reserved results, revaluation, photocopies of answer sheets, marksheets, eligibility and degree certificates, among other issues.

The initiative is also being implemented in line with the student-centric, transparent and accountable approach emphasised under the National Education Policy 2020. As part of the university’s ‘NEP Connect’ initiative, several interactive programmes have been launched to facilitate direct communication between students and the university administration.

Through these interactions, students are also provided guidance regarding changes and opportunities under the NEP and various academic processes. The university said student feedback received through such initiatives is being used to implement student-oriented decisions more effectively.
