CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination today, August 16. Candidates can check the provisional answer key, question papers and recorded responses on the official website and raise objections within the prescribed deadline.

The NTA conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 exam on 17th & 18th July 2026 in the mode of Computer Based Test (CBT). The examination was conducted in 224 cities and 352 centres for 1,87,739 registered candidates.

CSIR-UGC NET Answer Key 2026: Steps To Challenge

Candidates can check out the steps below to challenge the objection:

Step 1: Go to the official CSIR-UGC NET website and choose 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key'.

Step 2: Enter your application number and password to log in.

Step 3: To view your response sheet, choose "View Question Paper." The response document is available for candidates to download or print for their records.

Step 4: To view the provisional answer key and determine which questions you wish to object to, click "View / Challenge Answer Key."

Step 5: Choose the appropriate choice or options in relation to the question or questions that are being contested. If necessary, candidates must additionally provide the supporting documentation. The accompanying documentation should be uploaded using the 'Choose File' option in a single PDF file up to 500 KB in size. 

Step 6: After choosing the questions and submitting the necessary documents, click "Save your Claims."

Step 7: Carefully examine the claims. Candidates can choose 'Modify your Claims' if adjustments are needed. Click "Save Challenge & Pay Fee" to complete the payment if you're satisfied.

Step 8: Select "Pay Now" and use the online payment options to pay the required processing charge of ₹200 for each question that is challenged.

Step 9: Following a successful payment, the submitted claims will be saved.

CSIR-UGC NET Answer Key Challenge 2026: Important Note

You can only use the answer key challenge feature once. Therefore, before making the payment, candidates should thoroughly review all of their choices and supporting documentation.

Once the payment has been successfully completed, no further modification or additional challenge will be permitted. Candidates are advised to review their claims thoroughly before submitting the final challenge and completing the fee payment.
