While Mumbai has many monuments that make it look like a British city, with architecture and streets reminiscent of London, the recent proposal by the BMC for a 'Mumbai Eye,' inspired by the London Eye or the Millennium Wheel, has made a lot of waves in social discourses.

The BMC announced its ambitious plans in its Budget of Rs 74,427 crore.
One Mumbai's many renowned residents, RPG group's Harsh Goenka took to X, to ask a question on the same.
In his post, he said, "Mumbai is set to get its own ‘Mumbai Eye’ 🎡, a Ferris wheel rivaling the London Eye! With Mumbai welcoming 14.9% of India’s foreign tourists & its airport among the busiest, this could be a game-changer for tourism. Will it redefine the city’s skyline?
