Krutrim AI, a brainchild of Bhavish Aggarwal, has been one of the most publicised Indian AI companies in the ever-evolving AI sector that is currently witnessing a gold rush.

Bhavish Aggarwal, who is also the founder of Ola Electric and Ola Consumer (Cabs), has expressed his interest in making a big impact in the AI business.
However, this has not happened yet. When the world was amazed by DeepSeek, and its capabilities, and when Elon Musk's Grok 3 made waves, Bhavish Aggarwal or his Krutrim AI was nowhere to be seen.
At this crucial juncture, Aggarwal shared a post on X, sharing a frame with Palo Alto Networks chief Nikesh Arora.
In the post, Aggarwal said, "Breakfast with an old and dear friend @nikesharora ! Love our conversations about tech and AI in India 🙂👍"
AI and Cybersecurity
As per reports, India is crucial for the cybersecurity company Palo Alto. According to the company CEO Nikesh Arora, India has been the company's fastest-growing office in the last five years.
The company which initially worked on firewall internet security, has now expanded into cybersecurity, selling varied products in category.
Not just that, it also about the role of AI, and the need for AI to fight cyber crime, and protect cybersecurity.
According to interview that he gave to an English daily, Arora claims that AI is more crucial than ever before when it comes to fighting cybercrime
Cyberattacks are only expected to get more sophisticated with time, and this is where AI plays a crucial role
In his interview to ET, Arora said, "AI’s moment would arrive, and the world would see more sophisticated cyberattacks. Now, it seems we have perhaps underestimated their impact"

Accoridng to Arora, earlier, it took a criminal an average of 57 days to weaponise a vulnerability. Today they can do so in just three hours. Also, impact of the attacks is no longer measured in the millions.
This therefore puts a company like Krutrim AI in the picture. The AI service is currently limited to basic services, but could it further enhance its area of growth and influence, thereby making a mark in the AI business, by working with Palo Alto.
While the companies have not officially announced anything yet, Bhavish Aggarwal is known for his ambitious ventures, and what lies in the future, is something, that remains to be seen.
