Smart City Building Worth ₹116 Cr Inaugurated By CM Mohan Yadav In Bhopal
CM announces: Campus named after ex-PM Atal Behari Vajpayee

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the first government building built by Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited at a cost of Rs 116.26 crore on Tuesday.
It is situated in front of Hotel Palash in TT Nagar. The CM named the campus after former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The chief minister handed over the keys of government flats to Seema Tiwari, Kalpana Gurjar, Sangeeta Uike and Raghavendra Singh after inauguration.
About 221 families received possession and 28 families have started living. Yadav asked municipal commissioner Harendra Narayan Yadav and Smart City CEO Anju Arun Kumar to complete the works of other buildings in three to four months.
MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani said, “This is an important step that will benefit employees who have been waiting for government houses since 2016.”
The project
The smart city company has constructed 364 G type houses in first phase. These houses have been constructed in 3 units. Each has 13 floors. Two lifts, fire extinguishers, door cameras, parks, swings have also been installed in each building.
A total of 700 government flats will be constructed on the campus. The building construction started in 2020. Each flat measures 800 square feet.
These have cameras, modular kitchens, lifts, parking, parks for children to play, path-ways, swings. Door cameras are installed outside every flat. This is the first government building with such a facility.
