Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A team from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow, is expected to visit Bhopal next month to carry out detailed inspection of Metro trains and associated systems. According to officials of MP Metro Rail Corporation, the RDSO team is likely to stay in the city for around 10 days.
During its stay, the team will carry out extensive checks using its own equipment to evaluate train speed, station halting accuracy and public safety features.
“The team will examine everything from train performance to safety systems. They will verify whether the train stops correctly at platforms and whether all safety protocols are functioning properly,” said an official.
After RDSO submits its report, the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) will arrive in Bhopal for a final inspection of the entire project. Only after approvals from both RDSO and CMRS will the Bhopal Metro be cleared for commercial operations.
