MP News: MPESB Announces Recruitment For 2,646 Nursing Officer And Sister Tutor Posts | Representative Image

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has released the notification for the Combined Recruitment Exam-2026 for 2,646 posts under the Public Health and Medical Education Department. 

Applications will be accepted from April 6 to April 20, 2026, and the exam will start on May 15, 2026.

The recruitment is for regular 3rd-class posts in the nursing sector. Eligible candidates can apply online, and selection will be based on a written exam. 

Applicants must check eligibility, fees, exam pattern, and other important conditions carefully.

Posts Available

Nursing Officer: 1,256 posts in government hospitals, 954 posts in government medical colleges

Sister Tutor: 218 posts

Pay Scale

Nursing Officer: Level 7, ₹28,700 per month

Sister Tutor: Level 9, ₹36,200 per month

Both are regular 3rd - class positions.

Eligibility criteria

Nursing Officer: 12th pass with PCB subjects, B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, minimum 45% marks (5% relaxation for reserved), registered with Madhya Pradesh Nursing Council

Sister Tutor: 12th pass with PCB, B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, at least 1 year experience, registered with Nursing Council

Exam Pattern

100 questions, 1 mark each, 2 hours

25 questions: General Knowledge, Hindi, English, Math, Science

75 questions: Nursing subjects

Two shifts: 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 5 pm

Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for general, 40% for reserved

Selection based on merit, departmental need, and verification
