MP January 20 Weather Update: Cold Wave Alert In Madhya Pradesh; Schools Advised To Remain Close, Zero Visibility At Gwalior Airport
Moderate to dense fog prevailed in Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Niwari, North Panna and Rewa district while shallow to moderate fog prevailed in Sheopur Kalan, Shivpuri, Mauganj, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Satna district.

Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): An alert for biting cold was issued for many districts on Sunday. Districts with cold weather impact (minimum temperature below 8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature below 22 degrees Celsius) may be Gwalior, Anuppur, Chhatarpur, Satna, Katni, Maihar, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Niwari, Panna district for next 24 hours.
An advisory has been issued for administration, which includes school holidays on cold days. Daily staff and wagers may be prohibited from working in open.
According to meteorological department, moderate fog is likely to prevail in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur district. Dense fog is likely to occur in Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari and Maihar district. The weather remained dry in last 24 hours.
Cold wave prevailed in Shahdol. Moderate to dense fog prevailed in Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Niwari, North Panna and Rewa district while shallow to moderate fog prevailed in Sheopur Kalan, Shivpuri, Mauganj, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Satna district. Zero visibility was observed at Gwalior airport. The visibility was 50 metres at Rewa airport.
