FIR Against FIITJEE Director, Officials For Cheating Students
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): MP Nagar police on Monday registered an FIR against the director of FIITJEE coaching institute DK Goyal and other senior officials for cheating the students.
MP Nagar police station incharge Jai Hind Sharma said an FIR had been registered against FIITJEE director DK Goyal and other officials Manish Anand, Rajiv Babbar and Sumit Srivastava.
Further action will be taken following investigations, he added. The parents of the students who have taken admission at FIITJEE Bhopal branch had made a complaint against the director and other authorities of FIITJEE on Saturday, claiming that classes at the institute had been discontinued though they deposited hefty fee.

They said that coaching institute premises were locked for 10 days and the teachers and other staff had resigned from the institute. Parents claimed that they deposited 90% of course fee, which is Rs 3 to Rs 6 lakh depending on class of the student.
They said that the institute has embezzled fee of over 350 students. The parents informed police that they got children admitted at FIITJEE. They asked police to get their money back.
IIIT To Host Meet On AI, Image Processing On December 19
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhopal is going to host the 7th International Conference on Recent Trends in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition (RTIP2R) 2024 on December 19-20. Organised in collaboration with MANIT Bhopal and the University of South Dakota, the event aims to spotlight breakthroughs in AI, machine learning, image processing, and computer vision. The conference will be graced by the esteemed presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel as chief guest.
