Montra Electric’s e-SCV arm, TIVOLT Electric Vehicles, has entered into a strategic partnership with Steam-A to strengthen its EV charging infrastructure in India. As part of this collaboration, Steam-A’s Iris EV Charging Management Suite will be integrated into Powerdock, Montra Electric’s growing EV charging network.
This move comes as the company continues to expand its footprint in the electric small commercial vehicle segment, following the recent launch of the EVIATOR. Designed for high performance and efficiency, the EVIATOR is backed by the expanding Powerdock network, ensuring reliable charging support for Montra’s increasing customer base.
Montra Electric has adopted Steam-A’s Iris platform to improve the efficiency and reliability of its EV charging network. This advanced system offers real-time monitoring, AI-based predictive maintenance, and smooth EV roaming, helping to create a cost-effective and dependable charging setup. One of Iris’s key highlights is its AI-powered tool that predicts potential failures, helping reduce downtime and maintenance costs. Along with managing assets and workflows, the platform also provides detailed performance insights, supporting ongoing improvements in service quality and aiding the growth of Montra Electric’s charging operations.
Saju Nair, Chief Executive Officer of TIVOLT Electric Vehicles, the SCV division of Montra Electric, said, “We are excited to join hands with Steam-A. Our vision at Montra Electric is to drive electrification in commercial logistics, and empower customers to transition to electric mobility with confidence. By integrating Steam-A’s Iris platform into our Powerdock network, we are strengthening our commitment to innovation and customer-first solutions. This collaboration will drive greater EV adoption while delivering a seamless and effortless experience for our customers.”
Vishwanath Surendiran, Co-founder of Steam-A, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Montra Electric on their journey of making mobility more sustainable. Earning the trust of such a longstanding organization fills us with pride and a heightened sense of responsibility. We will go all out to deliver industry-leading standards of reliability and customer experience.”
