Honda Closes FY 2024-25 with 58.31 Lakh Sales; March 2025 Sales at 4.27 Lakh Units

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) wrapped up the financial year 2024-25 on a strong note, reporting total sales of 58.31 lakh units. This marks a 19% year-on-year growth, driven by domestic sales of over 53.26 lakh units and exports crossing 5.05 lakh units. In March 2025 alone, the company sold 4.27 lakh units, with 4.01 lakh units sold in the domestic market and over 26,000 units exported. The steady rise in sales reflects Honda’s growing demand in both domestic and international markets.

Additionally, HMSI introduced updated OBD2B-compliant models across its scooter and motorcycle lineup, offering enhanced features for customers.

The company introduced the NX200 with an OBD2B-compliant engine and upgraded features, along with the latest editions of the CB650R and CBR650R, strengthening its presence in the high-performance segment. In a step towards greener mobility, HMSI also launched the CB300F Flex-Fuel, making it India's first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, showcasing Honda's commitment to sustainable transportation.

The company's 125cc models, Shine and SP125, have gained a strong customer base, surpassing 30 lakh buyers in Eastern India and 10 lakh in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, HMSI achieved a significant landmark by crossing 2 crore sales in South India, reflecting the growing demand and trust in its products.
