A Bengaluru woman named Rachana Mahadimane made her dream come true by purchasing a Premier Padmini in 2024. It was on her birthday that she gifted herself this vehicle, which made her pinch herself to realise her wish had manifested.
Rachana shared a video of her driving her Padmini and narrating her love story with the vintage car. "It is the car of my dreams. I have been dreaming about this car since I was a child", she said.

In her video, she was seen driving her dream car. She happily held the steering of the vintage car and drove it on the roads of her city.
She revealed that a lot of work went behind bringing Padmini to a usable condition. She went to an automobile workshop to restore the car and make it function effectively.
