A groom was left stunned when his bride went into labour just two days after their wedding, forcing him to rush her to the hospital. The incident unfolded in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where a lavish wedding, filled with music, rituals, and festivities, took a shocking turn.
The groom’s family accused the bride of cleverly concealing her baby bump under her lehenga, preventing anyone from noticing.
In a viral video, the groom's sister can be heard demanding answers from the bride, insisting she disclose the baby's father. "She was wearing a lehenga from her waist up. So tell me, if she wears a lehenga so high, how would anyone understand? We thought maybe she was feeling cold, so she wore it that way. How were we supposed to know what she was hiding?" she says in the video.

As per reports, the groom's family claimed that the groom and bride slept separately after the wedding, with the bride insisting they avoid contact. The groom's sister added, "They didn’t have any physical relationship, so the bride must reveal who the child’s father is."
The couple tied the knot on February 24, and the bride was welcomed into her new home the following day, where the customary ‘Muh Dikhai’ ceremony was performed in the presence of relatives and guests.
On the morning of February 26, everything appeared normal, with the bride even serving tea to her new family members. However, later that evening, she suddenly complained of severe abdominal pain, prompting the family to rush her to a nearby hospital—only to discover that she was in labour.
