Nagpur: Head ticket examiner Alok Kumar Jha has set new record by recovering whooping ₹1.72 lakh from 220 irregular passengers on Train 03251. DRM Nagpur confirmed that Alok Kumar Jha who is head of TEs, himself examined the passengers on DNR SMVB SPL Train.
Everyday, thousands of people travel through railways without a valid ticket and ticket examiners like Alok Kumar Jha comes in between to maintain the legal bounds. On train no. 03251, which runs from Danapur railway station to SMVT Bengaluru railway station, head ticket examiner, Alok Kumar Jha set new record of abducting 220 passengers without a valid ticket. He recovered around ₹1.72 lakh through these irresgular passengers, according to the tweet shared by DRM Nagpur.
In the tweet DRM Nagpur wrote, "Shri Alok Kumar Jha, Head Ticket Examiner, Nagpur, set a new record in single-day revenue by recovering ₹1.72 lakh from 220 irregular passengers on Train 03251.
