Scottish Vlogger's IndiGo Experience Goes Viral | Hugh Abroad on Instagram
Scottish vlogger Hugh Abroad recently shared a video of his IndiGo flight experience during his travel in India. Documenting his journey from boarding to in-flight seating, the content creator praised several aspects of the flight to Bengaluru, including punctuality, cleanliness, and comfort.
"Here we go," he said cheerfully at the start of the video, before noting one of the biggest positives: “The good news is that the flight is on time.”
As he completed the procedure at the airport, he walked through an aerobridge that allowed direct boarding. “Another thumbs up for the tunnel,” he remarked, referring to the convenience of skipping the usual airport shuttle or staircase to the aircraft.

Once on board, Hugh’s review grew more detailed. He highlighted the airline’s cleanliness and space, saying, “Spotless, really, really clean—and the legroom is pretty good.”
However, he was visibly surprised to learn that IndiGo had been previously ranked among the world’s worst airlines.
In 2024, the Indian airline company was placed at the 103rd spot in a global list, with a rating of 4.80 out of 10. IndiGo later raised concerns over the lack of transparency regarding the methodology and sample size used for the evaluation.
Despite the airline's global ranking, Hugh's experience painted a different picture.
