A cheerleader at the Dharamsala Stadium expressed her fear amid the escalating situation between India and Pakistan in the border as it affected the IPL 2025 match between the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings on Thursday. In a video surfaced on social media, her voice kept breaking as she was terrified of the situation that occurred suddenly in the stadium.

After a prolonged wait, the officials decided to call off the contest, with the spectators and officials quickly evacuating the stadium. With India launching Operation Sindoor on May 7, Wednesday, to take down several terrorist camps, Pakistan have also retaliated and things escalated massively on Thursday.
Speaking in a video that surfaced on social media, the cheerleader said:
"So basically the whole stadium in the middle of the match was evacuated and it was very scary. Everyone was just screaming and it was very scary, it's still very very scary. We want to really go out of Dharamsala and I hope the IPL people will look after us. So yeah, this is very very scary. I don't know why I'm not crying. I think I'm still in shock."
